First of all, you are not alone, though each experience is unique. Some moms experience pure bliss within their postpartum while others really struggle and I think we can hold space for both and everything in between without judgement. There are many wonderful people out there that offer so many different services for moms, ranging from expensive to free. It would be naïve to think that I can be everything to everyone and if I'm being honest, I don't want to be. We all bring our own unique gifts and talents to the table. If you don't see the services and products you're looking for on my site, I would encourage you to keep searching until you find the right fit for you. I want moms and babies to thrive. Here is an ever-growing collection that I'm compiling of local care providers, organizations and services and some international resources too in this digital age. I receive no money for putting this collection together and, as such, have not vetted any of these recommendations and make no guarantees as to their claims, so it is your responsibility to do your due diligence. If you would like me to put your name and offerings in my collection (whether you're a local business or an individual who is willing to volunteer a few hours a month to another mom in some special way), I would love to hear from you and give your voice a platform. I only ask that it's mom-baby specific. I will likely expand the categories to include fertility, pregnancy + birth, so don't be shy if that's what you specialize in. Send me an email at or get in touch through social media links at bottom of the page.
No list of resources would be complete without books, books and more books. Most of these are books that I own and am happy to lend out to clients. This list will eventually be expanded to include books on fertility, pregnancy and birth (of which I own many), but for now, I have complied a list of postpartum books, so let's start there and work backward:
I wrote a very brief guide to postpartum care. It has plenty of helpful tips, ideas and might be a good introduction to a friend or family member who is new to the concept of Ayurveda and herbal support for the postpartum.
